Sarah Packington
Sarah has been designing and making acrylic and silver jewellery in Brighton since graduating from Brighton Polytechnic in 1991.
Her inspiration comes from her love of colour and pattern, particularly 1950's textiles. Sarah plays with the properties of clear dyed acrylic; light, reflection and strong colour. Hand manipulating the surface using etching, sanding, dying and polishing and using contrasts of polished/matte and colour/clear to add interest.
Sarah's pieces are finished to a high quality giving her jewellery a precious feel. Her designs are unique, fun and a pleasure to wear.
